Go around and after landing
If the runway is not available for landing, to ensure ATC separation, or to avert an unsafe situation, instructions to carry out a missed approach will be given. In such circumstances, workload in the cockpit is high and any transmissions to aircraft should be brief and
kept to a minimum.
Unless otherwise instructed, an aircraft on instrument approach will carry out the missed approached procedure and an aircraft operating VFR will continue in the normal circuit traffic.
In the event the missed approach procedure is initiated by the pilot, the phrase “GOING AROUND” shall be used.
