FAQs

  1. I am also a teacher. Can I assessment my own students?
No, assessors who also work as teachers must not assessment their own students, as there would be an obvious conflict of interest.Flight Instructors should also avoid assessmenting pilots for whom they have conducted aviation training.
  2. Somebody has asked me for a assessment. How do I organise it?
Ad hoc or “on demand” assessments can be organised through the AEPS website. The potential candidate should fill in the “on demand” form which can be found here.
If you require a second assessor, send an email to contact@aeps.aero and we will find one for you.You then organise a mutually convenient date with the pilot and conduct the assessment in the usual way.
  3. Is AEPS approved by the French DGAC?
AEPS is not “approved” by the DGAC, for the simple reason that our approval to conduct assessments is provided by the Belgian authorities. Our certificates are recognised by the DGAC under the Europewide EASA system.
