1. Personal Introduction

The introduction exercise of the AEPS test consists of presenting yourself to the examiners so that they know some more about you and your aviation experience.

2. Reading comprehension

Carefully read the short text or document linked to the aviation world. Afterwards, summarize the subject, speak about it in order to show that you have understood the meaning and the content of the document.

My tips:

  • At the test, you have approximately 2 minutes to read and review it.
  • The examiners will invite you to speak about the document you have just read.
  • All documents are in one way or another related to aviation.

3. Picture description

Look at the picture and be prepared to describe it at length, and to speak as much as you can about it.

My tips:

  • Don’t hesitate to be creative
  • All documents are in one way or another related to aviation.

4. Open question

Express your opinions and supporting reasons in clear, coherent English.

My tips:

  • Your opinion will not be judged, only your English level.
  • You will be asked to choose a number between 1 and 50, and this will be your question for this exercise.
  • To assess the interaction, the examiners may discuss the point with you or change subject during the conversation.
